Dong Jiafu—founder of Eastern Culture around us, from Bellevue High School

As a teenager who have been study aboard for several years, in these years I noticed some Chinese is forgetting about our culture. Chinese culture is something that is really worth to pass on and remember. I always believe as we are learning the western civilization, we should not forget who are we. The first time when people see us we will be recognized as Chinese, as a Chinese we should not be unfamiliar with our own culture. I hope by starting the Eastern culture around us project will make more people to be willing to remember and recognize the Chinese elements around them, to never forget where we come from.
